The long answer is because it happened quickly, because the school made us a good offer, because we are keen to gain teaching experience, because of the food, because of the history, because we have never been here together, because of the Grand Bazaar, the architecture and the skyline, because of the times we live in and the confluence of options here, because the school are reputed to be innovative and progressive, because it opens a whole region of travel opportunities and because it gives us a new language to learn. Did I mention the food?
The short answer: Why not?
